Godefroy is completing his third year of apprenticeship at Forêt Patrimoine. Currently in his final year of the forestry engineering program at AgroParisTech (Nancy campus), he holds a BTS in Forest Management from the Institut Saint-Joseph de Mesnières-en-Bray.

His experience in management, expertise, and forest transactions has led him to specialize in geomatics, with a particular interest in remote sensing tools applied to forestry.

As part of his forestry engineering apprenticeship at AgroParisTech and in line with his thesis titled
« Development of a forest estimation protocol based on geomatics », Godefroy Grassin is assigned to a one-month mission in New Zealand to conduct an exploratory study on forestry practices and geomatic analysis tools used in that country.

This mission is a continuation of his work focusing on the use of remote sensing data and geomatics for the assessment of forest assets.
