In Loir-et-Cher, the Brévignon forest is located in a calm and preserved environment, 60 km south of Orléans and 100 km east of Tours, which is a travel time of 2 hours from Paris via the A10, 1 hour 15 minutes from Tours, and 1 hour from Orléans.

Tree Species
Pines are the preferred species for reforestation in Sologne. Provided they are well-managed, both the quality and quantity of the results are good. The oldest stands in Brévignon are no exception, particularly the Corsican pines in plot 1.
Douglas fir, on the best sites, shows very good growth and quality results.
Among the hardwoods, oak can produce timber suitable for sawing.
In the understory, white wood (birch, aspen) is predominantly present.

Hunting
The area benefits from a marked hunting interest, forming a quality silvicultural and hunting management unit, coherent in its size and variety, as well as its open zones.
The massif hosts a population of wild boars and transient deer, enhancing the appeal and diversity of the hunting territory.
