An exceptional forest estate

Located near Paris and at the gateway to the Champagne wine region, this vast forest estate is at the heart of a symbolic territory in northern France. Spanning over 1,700 hectares in a single block, it is one of the largest private forest masses in this region. Dominated by large oak groves, the property combines quality timber production, ecological richness, and hunting potential. Set in a remarkable landscape, it aligns with the tradition of great heritage forest estates due to its extent and the quality of its stands.

A preserved natural territory

The forest is dotted with large ponds and clearings that structure the landscapes and enhance the biodiversity of the estate. Together, they form a coherent and remarkably preserved forest ecosystem, providing a particularly favorable habitat for large game. Hunting is conducted in a high-quality setting, supported by several buildings dedicated to its organization and the life of the estate. Continuing the great European hunting traditions, it represents one of the historical expressions of the place and significantly contributes to its enhancement.

A remarkable forest capital

The forest is predominantly composed of oak high forests covering more than 1,300 hectares. A recent inventory estimates the volume of oak timber at about 86,000 m³, with a significant portion of high-quality wood intended for veneer, cabinet making, and the most demanding markets. The stands are complemented by 217 hectares of deciduous coppices, constituting future production reserves, and 86 hectares of young plantations, mainly of sessile oak, ensuring the renewal of the forest capital.

A rare heritage opportunity

In a context where large land estates are becoming increasingly rare, vast single-block forest estates hold a unique position. Driven by the international reputation of French oak and the growing interest in major natural balances, these properties embody both a living capital, a territory, and a legacy.
